CBS 2025 Fall Schedule Is Here—New Comedies, Big Spinoffs, and Major Goodbyes

CBS has become the first broadcast network to share its full 2025-2026 television schedule.

The lineup includes the return of popular shows like “Survivor,” “NCIS,” “Matlock,” “Ghosts,” and “Fire Country” as well as several brand new series.

Missing from the schedule are canceled series “Poppa’s House,” “The Summit,” “Blue Bloods,” “FBI: Most Wanted,” “FBI: International,” “S.W.A.T.,” and “The Equalizer.”

On Mondays, new comedy “DMV” will air after returning sitcom “The Neighborhood,” and new “FBI” offshoot “CIA” will air directly after the OG series.

“DMV” is what it sounds like: a workplace comedy set at the department of motor vehicles. The show stars Harriet Dyer, Tim Meadows, Tony Cavalero, Molly Kearney, Gigi Zumbado, and Alex Tarrant.

“CIA” stars Tom Ellis as a renegade CIA officer who’s forced to work with a rule-following FBI agent. Ellis is the only announced cast member thus far.

Tuesdays are all about “NCIS,” with the original show and spinoffs “NCIS: Origins” and “NCIS: Sydney” airing back to back. Wednesdays will kick off with “Survivor” and “The Amazing Race” in the fall, but the schedule will change in January 2026.

New true crime docuseries “Harlan Coben’s Final Twist” will air on Wednesdays beginning in January. Best-selling mystery author Harlan Coben narrates a different true crime story in each hour-long episode. Then in the spring, “America’s Culinary Cup,” a new cooking competition show hosted by Padma Lakshmi, will join the Wednesday lineup.

The Thursday schedule is the same as last year; “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage,” “Ghosts,” “Matlock,” and “Elsbeth” will air back to back.

“We are not going to mess with perfection,” CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach said of the Thursday block, per Deadline.

Fridays will be home to returning action drama “Fire Country,” its new spinoff “Sheriff Country,” and new “Blue Bloods” spinoff “Boston Blue,” which stars Donnie Wahlberg as NYPD officer Danny Reagan.

On Sundays, new unscripted series “The Road,” which follows Keith Urban and Gretchen Wilson on their journey to discover the next big artist, will air after returning drama series “Tracker.”

Beginning in the spring, “Yellowstone” spinoff “Y: Marshals,” which is a working title, will take The Road’s place. The new series focuses on Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes).
