
The network’s “Welcome to Boston” campaign is blurring the lines between fiction and reality, spotlighting Wahlberg’s roots while giving the city itself a starring role in the proceedings, and everybody wants to get involved. Local favorites including JetBlue, View Boston, Wahlburgers, Omni Parker House, Sam Adams, Boston Duck Boats, and viral sensations the Boston Deli Boys have all partnered with CBS to mark the occasion. Boston Blue co-stars Sonequa Martin-Green as Detective Lena Silver alongside Gloria Reuben, Maggie Lawson, Marcus Scribner, Ernie Hudson, and Mika Amonsen. The Silver family, central to the series, introduces a new law enforcement dynasty to the Blue Bloods universe while Danny Reagan adjusts to his new city — and reconnects with his younger son.
