CBS Renews ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ and ‘NCIS: New Orleans’ for New Seasons

CBS has announced the renewal of both NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans, ensuring that fans will continue to enjoy these popular action dramas. NCIS: Los Angeles will return for an 11th season, while NCIS: New Orleans will embark on its sixth season.

NCIS: Los Angeles follows a specialized Naval Criminal Investigative Service unit based in Los Angeles, focusing on high-stakes investigations involving national security threats. The series stars Chris O’Donnell as Special Agent G. Callen and LL Cool J as Special Agent Sam Hanna, alongside Linda Hunt, Daniela Ruah, Eric Christian Olsen, Barrett Foa, and Renee Felice Smith. On the other hand, NCIS: New Orleans centers on the team investigating crimes related to military personnel in the vibrant city of New Orleans. Kelly Kahl, President of CBS Entertainment, praised the shows for their compelling storytelling, star power, and dedicated fan bases, expressing enthusiasm for the new seasons. Currently, NCIS: Los Angeles averages 10.1 million viewers with a 0.87 rating in the 18-49 demographic, while NCIS: New Orleans attracts nearly 11 million viewers and a 0.81 rating in the same demographic.

Both series continue to be integral parts of CBS’s lineup, alongside other renewed shows such as FBI, God Friended Me, Mom, Young Sheldon, Magnum P.I., and the final season of Criminal Minds
