Chicago Fire Season 12 – Missing From April 24th
Some fans expected to watch a new episode of Chicago Fire on Wednesday, April 24th. The show is currently in its 12th season. However, it’s been on hiatus since April 3.
Chicago Fire didn’t air new episodes on April 10th and April 17th. Fans got agitated when there wasn’t a new episode again on the 24th.
Thankfully, they don’t have to wait long for its return. Chicago Fire Season 12 will return on Wednesday, May 1 at 9 p.m. EST. CBS released a teaser for the upcoming episode titled, “The Wrong Guy.”
Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) will have to rescue a diver who ends up pinned after his vehicle crashes into the second floor of a building. It’s another dramatic rescue for the show that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. They will look forward to the show’s return.

News On Chicago Med And Chicago P.D.
Fans are also curious about the returns of Chicago Med and Chicago P.D. These shows have also been on hiatus for the past few weeks. Both of them will return with new episodes on Wednesday, May 1.
Chicago Med Season 9, Episode 10 will air at 8 p.m. ET. The new promo video shares a teaser for the episode “You Just Might Find You Get What You Need.” During the episode, Dr. Loren Johnson (Henderson Wade) and Made Lockwood (Marlyne Barrett) struggle to survive after a horrific helicopter crash.
Meanwhile, Chicago P.D. Season 11, Episode 10 airs at 10 p.m. ET. CBS also released a teaser video for the episode titled “Buried Pieces.” Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) meets with a young girl with a chilling story. All three shows will return for the upcoming 2024-2025 season.
Fans can look forward to these shows ruling the CBS lineup in the future. Chicago Fire was renewed for Season 13. Chicago P.D. was renewed for Season 12, while Chicago Med was renewed for Season 10.
