New seasons of all your favorite One Chicago shows are coming to NBC this fall.
Get ready for another chapter of thrilling Windy City rescues because Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago P.D. have all been renewed for NBC’s 2026-2027 season.
Primetime titan Dick Wolf is raising a glass to an upcoming Season 15 of Chicago Fire, Season 14 of Chicago P.D., and Season 12 of Chicago Med, which are set to be jam-packed with action. From mind-blowing medical miracles to intense close-calls, the Gaffney doctors, Firehouse 51 first responders, and Intelligent Unit officers never fail to go above and beyond to see the day saved.
“It’s never lost on me how special it is to be a part of something with the longevity this has,” Chicago Fire fan favorite Taylor Kinney told Us Weekly in a May 2022 interview. “It’s a testament to [series creator] Dick Wolf and the team of people he puts together.”

New seasons of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. are coming fall 2026
That’s right, Chihards, NBC’s One Chicago Wednesdays will return in fall 2026 on NBC and Peacock. An official premiere date has yet to be announced, but in the meantime, viewers can stay caught up with the Windy City heroes by tuning in for new episodes of Chicago Fire Season 14, Chicago Med Season 11, and Chicago P.D. Season 13.

For over a decade, blazing infernos, medical disasters, and chilling crime scenes have done nothing to sway the One Chicago icons from accepting the call to action, and Chihards can’t wait to see where the Windy City heroes head next.
“It’s a pretty big [One Chicago] family,” series creator Dick Wolf said in 2019. “Everybody gets along. I mean, there are no squeaky wheels in the cast… I’ve never had anything like it…It’s a remarkably ensemble-like world.”
Amid the non-stop action, Chihards relish any chance to catch up with the One Chicago heroes, who often navigate just as many twists and turns out of uniform as they do when reporting for duty. From heartwrenching love triangles to adrenaline-fueled crossover episodes, these One Chicago heroes have mastered the art of delivering blood-pumping episodes on Wednesday nights.
“We really like when we can have characters have storylines across the shows…” Chicago Fire producer Reza Tabrizi told NBC Insider. “The [One Chicago] writers’ rooms are close to each other, and there are conversations going on all the time. As far as what’s happening with the characters and how we can engage the characters from other shows in each show. That’s been ongoing since the beginning.”
Watch One Chicago Wednesdays on NBC, and stream episodes the next day on Peacock.
