Chicago Fire: Severide’s sad and moving words to Violet
The first episodes of season 11 of Chicago Fire reminded all show fans that any character can disappear at any time

The fourth episode of season 11 of Chicago Fire revealed a sad conversation between Severide and Violet, although it is supposed to be words of encouragement, the fans could not resist the desire to cry for everything that important scene meant.

The first episodes of season 11 of Chicago Fire reminded all show fans that any character can disappear at any time. This was revealed by Lieutenant Kelly Severide (played by Taylor Kinney), who chatted with paramedic Violet Mikami (Hanako Greensmith) to remind her of all the lives lost at the fire stationthat some of them even came to love them.

Severide and Violet’s sad and poignant conversation begins when he begins to talk to her about the two hardest hits he has received since he worked at the firehouse. He initially wanted to tell her about Anna (played by Charlotte Sullivan), who Chicago Fire fans have long remembered as Severide’s girlfriend from season five who died of leukemia. Then Leslie Shay (Lauren German).

“The two hardest things I went through were losing Shay and losing Anna. And for a long time after Anna’s death, I felt like a ship untied from the dock, lost, there was nothing to hold on to. I don’t want to think about how low I might have sunk if I hadn’t gone back to work. It’s just my opinion, I was where you are now,” Severide tells Violet.

Although his words moved Violet, he admitted that he is afraid that if he goes back to the barracks, he will see Hawkins everywhere. Severide – who could probably relate to her after losing Shay – told her that she had also seen Anna everywhere she had gone “for a long time”, but that she had seen her team on the 51st even more when everyone helped him.

Tears welling up in her eyes at the end of her conversation, Violet clearly appreciated that he opened up to her and showed her that someone truly understood what she was going through. The next day Violet returns to work and a little relieved thanks to Severide. Without a doubt, the situation that each of the Chicago Fire firefighters has gone through has not been easy, but they always manage to get ahead to help people. Only time will tell if these conversations with Severide will help Violet move on and end her pain.
