Severide goes on a ride of his life in Chicago Fire season 12, episode 11. Who could help track him down? We take a look at what to expect.
We knew that Severide was going to find himself in a sticky situation during Chicago Fire season 12. It turns out that it’s to do with people taking Truck 81 for a ride.
Severide happens to be on Truck 81 when a group of men steal it. He has no idea where he’s going, and it doesn’t look like he has a way to get in touch with anyone. All Firehouse 51 knows is that the truck has been taken and Severide is missing.
Who will help find him? It’s time for the partner of a firehouse character to step in to help, and it’s not going to be Trudy or others from Chicago PD.
Chicago Fire 12×11 promo
The promo gives us a look at what to expect for Severide’s story. We see how he ends up being taken out with Truck 81, which is stolen by a group of armed men. What’s not clear is why these men are taking the truck. What do they want, and what will happen when they find out Severide was on it at the time?
This is the storyline that Chicago Fire warned us about. Severide’s life is definitely on the line.
The end of the promo doesn’t look great. It’s clear that there has been an explosion with bits of the truck everywhere. Was Severide in the middle of it, or has he been taken somewhere else?
Chicago Fire 12×11 synopsis
The synopsis goes into a little detail about how Firehouse 51 will find their missing lieutenant. Ritter’s secret is out—I love that at first there was a thought that he was secretly gay. It all came out that he is secretly dating a cop. Of course everyone knows that he’s gay, and they still love him regardless because love is love.
Well, Ritter will need to admit that he’s dating a cop. This cop may be able to help locate the truck and Severide. The question is whether it will be in time.
We don’t get many details about any lighthearted storylines for the episode. It looks like this is going to be focused on this one huge situation, which isn’t normal for a Chicago Fire episode. Sometimes, it is necessary, though.
“Severide goes for an unexpected ride on Truck 81. Ritter’s worlds collide when his secret cop boyfriend helps 51 track down Severide and the missing rig.”
