Taylor Kinney doesn’t post on social media often—but he recently gave fans a hint about a mysterious project that will surely bring all the holiday cheer.
The actor is famous for playing Kelly Severide on Chicago Fire, but he also likes to change things up with surprise career moves. Well, Taylor did just that when he shared an unexpected announcement on Instagram on December 1. He is working on a collaboration with Google on what appears to be a new holiday movie called The Gift EXchange. What’s more, he’s teaming up with Nikki Garcia and Donna Kelce to bring the film to life.
“Little holiday magic … ,” he cryptically wrote in the caption. “Things are heating up in Mistletown this year thanks to @Google. Check out the trailer soon!”
Given how rarely Taylor posts on social media, seeing him share a holiday surprise left fans screaming about what’s to come.
“THERE IS NO CHRISTMAS PRESENT BETTER THAN THIS,” one person shouted in the comments. “Wow, that’s awesome. This is the most amazing gift to your fans, thank you @taylorkinney111 ❤️❤️❤️😍😍,” another declared. “Congratulations! I am so excited! ❤️,” a different follower added.
While we don’t know everything about what to expect from Taylor’s latest gig, there are some key clues in the photo he posted. Taylor will portray a character named Aiden Winter, and Aiden will likely have a history with Nikki’s character, Holly Hall. Donna will star as Nikki’s mom, Carole.
Nikki posted the same promo picture with even more details about her and Taylor’s joint project.
“Big city personal shopper meets hometown hunk,” she wrote on Instagram. “Hey @google what are the odds? Trailer dropping this week.”
