Jake Lockett is here to stay on Chicago Fire!
The actor has been promoted to series regular on the long-running NBC series after appearing as Sam Carver for the last two seasons. He made his Chicago Fire debut in the season 11 premiere and has since appeared in 33 episodes.
TVLine reports that Jake will get a promotion for the upcoming 13th season and we’re so excited about it!
The news also confirms that Jake will definitely be back for the next season after the season 12 finale left his character in limbo. Carver took a furlough from work at the end of the season, but it appears he’ll be back soon enough!
