Chicago P.D. Season 13, Episode 4 ‘Root Cause’ is a Voight episode, and if we’re being honest, that’s a good thing these days. Voight episodes have been the strongest of the show’s last season or so, and the addition of Eva Imani to the show brings a different dynamic for Voight to deal with, which has a lot of promise.
In the absence of Chapman, who might still return, it feels like any Voight episode might end up featuring a lot of Eva Imani, if nothing else, because she’s set up as a mirror to the head of Intelligence. Whether she will end up calling him out or supporting him, we will find out.
