Chicago P.D.’s Cast Just Dropped the Cutest (and Most Relatable) Holiday Card of 2025 md18

Just weeks away from the season’s return after an extended hiatus, the Chicago P.D. cast dropped the best group photo to celebrate Christmas.

One Chicago’s finest wants to make sure everybody has a very happy holiday season — but they couldn’t quite get the photo they wanted.

In a December 18 Instagram carousel, Chicago P.D. star Marina Squerciati shared her and her co-stars’ attempts at a traditional family holiday greeting card. Like so many holiday card photo shoots, it led to some pretty hilarious pictures. Squerciati was joined by LaRoyce Hawkins, Patrick John Flueger, Arienne Mandi, and Benjamin Levy Aguilar in a neighborhood in Chicago, and well, they certainly tried their best.

The group couldn’t take a photo that didn’t have at least one of them laughing, looking away, or being caught mid-blink! (Something very distracting must have been happening just off-camera.)

The four photos are adorable nonetheless, showing once again how much fun our One Chicago favorites have when they’re hanging out together — on set or otherwise.

“Family holiday cards are hard. #onegrumpygus #severalnotlookingatthecamera #ariseyesclose #couplestrangelooks #toomuchlaughing @laroycehawkins @arienne_mandi @pjflueger @benjaminlevyaguilar @barilynnaccessories @nbconechicago @wolfentertainment HAPPY EVERYTHING EVERYONE!” she wrote.

When do all three One Chicago shows come back with new episodes?

The One Chicago winter hiatus is still going strong, which means Chi-hards have been without new episodes since mid-November. However, Windy City Wednesdays will return on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, with all three One Chicago shows returning to their original airing schedule on that date.

Here’s a schedule refresher:

8/7c: Chicago Med Season 11
9/8c: Chicago Fire Season 14
10/9c: Chicago P.D. Season 13

And although there will be no One Chicago shows airing on Wednesday, December 24, it’ll still be a great night to tune in to NBC.

The network will be airing the iconic holiday film It’s a Wonderful Life beginning at 8/7c, followed by coverage of the Pope Leo-led Christmas Eve mass from St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome at 11:30/10:30c — just in time before Santa comes down the chimney.
