Who is Marina Squerciati’s husband? Off-screen, Marina Squerciati’s love life is much more stable than her character’s. She has been married to Eli Kay-Oliphant, a Chicago-based lawyer, since 2016. According to Hello! Magazine, the pair first met when they were both students at Northwestern University. Squerciati graduated from the university in 2003 and began her television career shortly after, appearing on The Good Wife, Damages, Blue Bloods, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Gossip Girl before booking her role as Kim Burgess.
Squerciati is very private when it comes to her personal life. She doesn’t share any photos of her husband on social media, nor does she speak about him publicly. The Chicago P.D. star is a little bit more open about her daughter, whom she and Oliphant reportedly welcomed in May 2017. Per TV Insider, Squerciati went on maternity leave ahead of her daughter’s birth, marking the only time she’s ever stepped away from the show for an extended period of time.
Although the couple have never revealed their daughter’s name publicly, Squerciati has shared a few photos of her on social media and she appears to have an interest in theatre and dance. In April 2023, the mother-daughter duo had a Girls Night Out at Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre, where they saw a performance by classical Chinese dance company Shen Yun. Squerciati shared fun photos of her and her daughter, as well as another little girl, attempting a Shen Yun leap. “Girl’s night out @shenyunperformingarts! A few months later, she and her daughter saw another show: T’was the Night Before by Cirque Du Soleil. Squerciati posted two photos of the 7-year-old sitting on her mom’s shoulders. “T’was the Night Before…YOU NEED TO SEE THIS! PS: Swipe to see our own Cirque family fail,” she wrote in the caption, adding: “The review from my kid was, “I don’t want it to be over, ever!”
