Chicago PD Season 12, Episode 19 Release Date & Time

As Chicago PD Season 12 nears its finale, signs of change are everywhere. Episode 18, “Demons,” advanced the season’s main conflict between Hank Voight and Deputy Chief Charlie Reid, while also hinting that Dante Torres could soon be departing the series. Season 12 has also given Kevin Atwater his first major romance, it’s been leading up to the wedding between Adam Ruzek and Kim Burgess, and it has featured a new addition to the main cast.

This week’s Chicago PD is turning its attention back to Season 12’s newest hero, Officer Kiana Cook. Entitled “Name Image Likeness,” Episode 19 looks to be taking a break from the season’s overarching plot, in favor of a traditional, self-contained story. Season 12, Episode 9, “Friends and Family,” offered fans Cook’s backstory, but this will be her first real chance at further character development.

Officer Cook Continues to Be Put in the Spotlight in Chicago PD Season 12, Episode 19

First introduced in Chicago PD Season 12, Episode 2, “Blood Bleeds Blue,” Officer Cook has been a welcome addition to the series’ cast. She’s brought a fresh new presence to the Intelligence Team; she has great chemistry with her co-workers, especially Torres, and both the personal and professional aspects of her backstory do enough to set her apart from Chicago PD’s abundance of other characters. Now, after spending most of the back half of Season 12 either absent or in supporting roles, Cook is finally getting another focus episode.

Season 12, Episode 19, “Name Image Likeness,” will follow Cook as she takes on a case surrounding a suspicious and well-connected college athlete. NBC has released both a 15-second promo and a logline for the new episode. The latter reads, “Cook works with a confidential informant for the first time in a robbery-murder case with links to a star college athlete.”
