Cindy Cullers Clears the Air on Golden Bachelor Fallout — Reveals Blocking, Podcast Feuds, and Her Side of the Story md18

Getting candid.

Bachelor Nation got to know and love Cindy Cullers as she looked for love on Season 2 of “The Golden Bachelor.”

As fans remember, Cindy decided to send herself home during her overnight date with Mel Owens after realizing they were wanting different outcomes.

Mel ultimately picked Peg Munson during the season finale, but since the show has wrapped, drama has brewed between Cindy and the couple as they’ve spoken out on various podcasts.

Now, Cindy is on “Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour” to clear the air and share her side of the “Golden Bachelor” drama.

While answering why she thinks Mel has been throwing “shade” her way, Cindy expressed, “If you’re in love with Peg, it’s always been Peg, why do you give a flip if I walked out on you? I think both cannot be true and he’s gonna have to figure out which one it is. But you can’t make both of them true…Watch the show, listen to the podcast, I think that it’s pretty evident that he now has a very strong relationship with Peg. More power to them. But it was not always that way. It was not from the get-go, it was not from the cheer, it was not from the — just whatever he wants to try to say. It just wasn’t. So, I don’t know. You can talk to me about your perspective, but the truth is still the truth.”

Cindy went on and also expressed her confusion over Peg’s comments, claiming that she’s been lying.

“It’s a little hard. It’s not like I haven’t lost sleep over it. Peg posted something on ‘She’s All Bach’ and she wanted to go on the podcast, she asked to go on the podcast,” Cindy revealed, “She posted that I was lying and that the truth will come out…I encourage you to go watch ‘She’s All Bach’ again and my episode with them and her episode. There’s nothing that she can point to. I have no clarity about it and I listened with intent.”

Cindy then cleared the air on Mel’s comments about her saying she just wanted a marriage and revealed that both he and Peg have blocked her on social media.

“No, it’s not what I wanted, and I didn’t even necessarily need an engagement by the end of the week. But this man hadn’t thought about his life with anybody in it. He was using the show admittedly to kind of figure out what he wants. He and Peg have found each other… and so I think that they are well matched,” she shared, “I’ve spent a lot of time and a lot of energy focusing on knowing what I want and I already learned that’s not what I wanted. And so, I, too, have been blocked by Peg and Mel. I’ve been blocked for a long time. It’s been a blessing for me.”

She continued, “I do hear what’s going on because Bachelor Nation is a real thing and I have people who are watching my back from afar. People who don’t know me, who will message me and say, ‘Hey this is what they’re saying. This is a rumor that they’re spreading’ and just let me know — and I appreciate that. But I’m really grateful not to have to witness those firsthand because if they were so happy, they just need to move on and leave me out of it. I’ve given my perspective, I’ve been asked to give my perspective, I’ve told the truth. And you may have a different perspective, and you’re allowed to have a different perspective, but you can’t argue with truth… He has found happiness and I wish they would have their happiness and leave me out of it. I’ve not brought them into it, I’ve not talked shade about them. I do wish Mel the very best, I said it from the get-go, I still say it. And it’s just time to move on.”
