Clarkson’s Farm fans have pleaded with Jeremy Clarkson and show bosses at Amazon to make one major change to the show ahead of its hotly-anticipated fourth run.
The former Top Gear host’s farming venture has proved a ratings smash for the streamer, with its recently released third season smashing the Amazon rating records previously set by season two.
And it provided many a talked-about moment during its third run, from “f*** you” wins over the local council to brilliant news regarding fan-favourite Gerald Cooper’s health.
Clarkson – who has admitted he “knows” when he’ll end Clarkson’s Farm – will reunite with the team in season four and filming began earlier this year just as season three dropped.
Now, via the Diddly Squat farm’s Instagram account, fans have been assured filming on the new series is running smoothly.
In a recent social media post, the Diddly Squat account shared a snap of the crew’s vast collection of walkie-talkies on charge ready for another day of filming on the farm.
In the accompanying caption, the Diddly Squat team assured fans: “Another day, in the can. S4.”
While the fact more footage had been filmed sent excitement levels sky-high in the comments sections, it’s safe to say it also prompted several to urge the team not to let any material go to waste.
Pleading for a change to the show’s current format – which has seen three eight-episode-long series drop so far – one fan urged: “Can you please make more than 8 episodes for season 4?”
“Bl**dy hurry up with it, then. And make it 20 episodes long…Best thing on TV,” a second echoed before a third added: “So excited for season 4! We need more episodes this time though please.”
The pleas kept on coming as a fourth concurred: “I agree with everyone in this comment section when they say more episodes in the next season and definitely a Christmas episode please and thank you.”
“I could watch 10 seasons of your show Jezza. Fantastic programme,” a fifth praised while a sixth suggested: “Make more episodes or drop one 2 hr episode every week.”
And another added to the demands: “We need more than the 8 Episodes per Season and maybe one or two specials!” (sic)
Unfortunately for fans, there has been no word from Clarkson and co. that the fourth season will indeed be changed to include more episodes than ever before.
And he’s remained tight-lipped on exactly when fans can expect the new episodes after being put on the spot by eager fans. After season three arrived in its entirety on Amazon Prime Video, one fan put the release date question to Clarkson on X.
