Jeremy Clarkson’s partner and co-star of Clarkson’s Farm, Lisa Hogan, has recently published a video and a photo with Gerald Cooper, reassuring fans that the man is in good spirits following cancer diagnosis.
During season three of Clarkson’s Farm, viewers learned that one of the show’s much loved stars, Gerald, has been battling prostate cancer.
He was absent from most episodes as he was attending hospital appointments and going through medical procedures.
By the end of the series, Clarkson was overjoyed to reveal that his friend Gerald had beaten cancer after several radiotherapy sessions.
Lisa Hogan has been sharing photos and videos with the 74-year-old on her social media, which has brought relief to worried Clarkson’s Farm fans.
Ms Hogan recently published a video showing that Kaleb, Gerald Cooper and herself took off on a road trip in Oxfordshire.
The video shows Kaleb asking the other passengers: “Can I have the window up now, please? I’m cold. Are we there yet? Can we have the air-con on?”
In return, Lisa turned to Gerald and jokingly requested: “Dad, can you please control your son?”
Gerald did not respond but let out a chuckle, which left fans delighted to see him in good spirits again.
Is Gerald Kaleb’s father?
The jovial comment has prompted show fans to speculate on whether Gerald is in fact Kaleb’s father.
Kaleb – now the farm manager at Diddly Squat – and Gerald do share the same surname, but they are not related.
However, the pair have developed a close friendship, and Gerald has been seen supporting Kaleb during his live tour The World According to Kaleb, which took place earlier this year.
Gerald has also appeared in a photo with Lisa on her Instagram, as they both attended the Bledington Music Festival last weekend.
Clarkson’s Farm fans left hundreds of comments under the posts, saying that were pleased to see Gerald in good form.
One person wrote: ‘So good to see Gerald laughing’. Another fan added: ‘I love the Diddley Squat family [sic]’.
