Clarkson’s Farm star Lisa Hogan has told Sunday with Miriam on RTÉ Radio 1 that she does not hear wedding bells for herself and her partner Jeremy Clarkson at the moment.
The reality series, which chronicles Clarkson and Hogan’s (mis)adventures on Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds, recently returned for its third season, with the chemistry between the pair a big part of the Prime Video hit.
During Sunday’s interview, O’Callaghan asked former model and actress Hogan: “Farms can be a great place to get married. Might you ever propose to Jeremy?”
“I would say the only husbandry happening on the farm at the moment is with Ajax, who is our boar, and we’ve just put him back in with the sows!” Dubliner Hogan replied.
“At this stage in your life, I think, it’s not an important thing as much as it would have been a couple of decades ago,” she added.
Hogan said she and the former Top Gear presenter “met through mutual friends who had tried to set us up a couple of times”.
“We eventually met at a Christmas party,” she recounted. “I was just about to leave and we were introduced and he said, ‘No, no, come on, sit down and have a chat’. And that was it, really.
“So he called me a couple of days later and I thought, ‘Ok, you’ve got a bit of a rep’ – so he had to really court me! He courted me for a solid three months! And then, so I said, ‘Ok’.”
“He’s very, very good company,” Hogan added. “And he does make an effort to make me laugh a lot, which I really appreciate. And we do – we get on.”
