Could a ‘Station 19’ Spinoff Feature Travis & Vic or Maya & Carina?

As Station 19 wraps up, fans are left wondering if we might see spinoffs featuring beloved characters. In the series finale, best friends Travis (Jay Hayden) and Vic (Barrett Doss) embarked on a new adventure in Washington, D.C., while Maya (Danielle Savre) and Carina (Stefania Spampinato) learned they were expecting a baby.

Could ABC explore a new chapter in the nation’s capital with Travis and Vic, or perhaps focus on Maya and Carina’s journey? Co-showrunners Peter Paige and Zoanne Clack shared their thoughts on the possibility of spinoffs. Will There Be a ‘Station 19’ Spinoff With Travis & Vic or Maya & Carina? EPs Weigh In

Paige revealed, “We’ve been pitched several spinoffs. Crisis One is one of them,” referencing Vic’s new role in the Crisis One program. He mentioned a poster circulating online and noted that there’s also been interest in a Fosters-like spinoff for Maya and Carina. However, he tempered expectations, saying, “The likelihood of them happening is small.”

Clack added, “The fact that people are hoping and dreaming makes us feel a little tingly inside.” A Crisis One spinoff could connect to the larger Shondaland universe, especially since Scandal is set in D.C.

Station 19 premiered as a Grey’s Anatomy spinoff in 2018, focusing on Seattle firefighters. Despite hopes for a continuation beyond Season 7, the show’s final episode provided a heartfelt conclusion filled with hope and love.Station 19 saison 6 : Danielle Savre parle de Maya et Carina

In the finale, Travis initially hesitated to join Vic in D.C., but ultimately declared, “So, as it turns out, my life is wherever you are,” solidifying their bond.

With Station 19 concluded, many fans are curious about the futures of characters like Carina and Ben (Jason George), who also started on Grey’s Anatomy. Paige expressed hope that Grey’s would utilize these characters moving forward, emphasizing their appeal and depth.

As fans wait to see what the future holds, the possibility of a spinoff remains tantalizingly open, if unlikely.
