An Oakland County judge ordered sheriff’s deputies to arrest the former child star during a court appearance on Wednesday, giving McCrary an ultimatum: Pay a $5,500 fine or sit in jail.

Darius McCrary (r.) should have learned from TV dad Carl Winslow, who watched over his kids and nerdy neighbor Steve Urkel in the 1990s sitcom 'Family Matters.'

The 38-year-old actor was booked but quickly decided to pay up rather than sleep over, authorities said.
McCrary faced up to two weeks behind bars, according the TMZ.com, which first reported the arrest.
