The Big Bang Theory series has led to multiple spin-off shows about the Cooper family. Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) was one of the main characters on the flagship show, and with shows like Young Sheldon, we got more of an insight into the Cooper side of things, including his brother and sister. This is where we find ourselves with Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage. Now in its second season, the series follows Sheldon’s older brother, Georgie (Montana Jordan), and his wife, Mandy (Emily Osment), as they embark on their marriage. And, thanks to The Big Bang Theory, we know it is not his only marriage. And in a new exclusive clip from the new episode “Fan Mail and Old-Timey Organ Music,” we can see why.
Collider is excited to share an exclusive look at the next episode in which Mandy finds a fan at a restaurant who buys her a glass of wine. The problem is that Georgie is very jealous. The two are having dinner, and Georgie wants to order drinks for them, but he is famously too young to do so. Mandy can order her own drinks, but that’s beside the point. The two go back and forth, all leading to the waiter still waiting for Georgie’s ID in the end.
The clip is a fun back and forth between the two, but knowing that this is their first marriage does make it very interesting. The synopsis for “Fan Mail and Old-Timey Organ Music” is as follows:
“Georgie’s upset when Mandy’s new role as weekend weather girl gets her more attention from the men in town, and Connor turns to Jim for help when he’s asked to play the organ at the high school baseball game.”
Sheldon Cooper’s Family Sure Is Interesting
With Young Sheldon, fans knew going in that George Cooper Sr. (Lance Barber) would die before the end of the series because of things we learned in the flagship series. Which is also part of what makes Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage so interesting. We kind of know that it isn’t going to end well for these characters, but we’re on the journey with them. Even with Sheldon (Iain Armitage) not on the series, we are still learning about how things from Sheldon’s life in The Big Bang Theory came to be, and that’s what makes the show so much fun!
