David Boreanaz has seemingly revealed the release date for SEAL Team season 7. The CBS war drama follows the lives of elite Navy SEALs who train, plan, and execute dangerous missions to protect the United States. SEAL Team has aired for six seasons on CBS so far, starting in 2017.

Boreanaz wrote a brief reflection on the end of SEAL Team. He wrote, “Starting from the end. Last words being discussed,” with the image confirming the title of the finale is “The Last Word.” His previous post said, “August, here we come!” (via Collider) before being edited to April. While it’s unclear why this information was edited, the August mention could imply a potential release date. The April date could be the planned filming date for the final episode.
SEAL Team Season 7 Will Be The Final Season
The upcoming episodes will mark the end of SEAL Team. In November 2023, it was announced that season 7 would be the show’s final season with 10 episodes. Following the cancellation, Boreanaz expressed his gratitude for the series, saying that he was “so blessed and blessed to be a part of such an incredible cast and crew.” The exact reason for the cancellation was not stated at the time of this news.
Additionally, it was revealed that the previously announced standalone SEAL Team movie would be canceled. The show was announced in February 2022, shortly after SEAL Team was renewed for season 6. The exact plot or other details of the show have not been revealed and now what the SEAL Team show could be will never be revealed.
Season 7 will be responsible for resolving all the major storylines in the series. This is quite a heavy task after SEAL Team season 6, which saw the death of one of the main characters, Clay Spenser. The final season of SEAL Team will deal with Clay’s death and more as the final episodes of the show begin.
