Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) is spiraling and desperate to keep her baby secret hidden, but with Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) onto her and her child’s mistaken paternity, will the young girl do something drastic to keep the doctor quiet?
DOOL fans recently learned that Tate Black (Leo Howard) is not the father of Tesoro (Joseph Ihlenf and Jordan Perdue), but it’s still unknown as to exactly who is.
After Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) filled Sarah in on his investigation and the failed DNA test on the newborn, Sarah went straight to Sophia to confront her.
It does seem as if the teen girl didn’t lie on purpose and was likely with Tesoro’s father only once, which is why she assumed Tate was the baby’s bio dad.
With that said, instead of coming forward and easing Tate’s mind by telling him the truth, Sophia wants this secret hidden.
Plus, she and Tate will always have a bond if he believes they conceived a child together, and since she’s so smitten with him, that’s another reason to continue this charade.
While keeping up the paternity lie is standard soap scheming, Sophia’s behavior in other areas has been concerning.
The fact that she took risqué pictures of Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and sent them to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is concerning.
Setting up a fake relationship between the two so that he and Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) couldn’t adopt Tesoro was dark.
Add in the fact that Holly nearly lost her life in the fire at the dorm, somewhat thanks to Sophia, plus, Sophia filling Tate in on Holly’s so-called inappropriate relationship with Johnny, and there is massive concern about what the young girl could do next.
Sarah confronted Sophia this week and was adamant that the young mom come forward about Tesoro’s true paternity.
Sure, Sarah is bound by HIPAA, or she’ll lose her license, but Sarah could also find ways around this as a reputable doctor who has served the community for years with a pretty stellar record.
She’s noted before that if she believes the baby’s life is in danger, she’d bear no repercussions. It’s not a stretch to think that Sarah would fudge up a story to ensure the right thing was done.
DOOL spoilers for the week of October 13 note that Sophia will snap, so what kind of measures could she take to stop Sarah from spilling the baby paternity beans, if Sarah threatened to do so?
Would Sophia potentially knock Sarah out, kidnap her, and hold her hostage to keep her from telling Tate and Brady the truth?
