In a new interview with Soap Opera News, Jimenez discussed Gabi’s romantic ups and downs and reflected on where she believes the story was heading.
When asked about the fan-favorite, potential super couple, “JJabi”, Jimenez admitted she was rooting for the pairing too. “With JJ, it’s unfortunate because they really were heading in a great direction, and I totally thought Gabi would end up with JJ,” she said.
Gabi’s path hasn’t been easy. Earlier this year, she found herself at the center of the Who Shot E.J. storyline, which forced J.J. to investigate her. “The accusations derailed the relationship. She’s hurt and is definitely still holding a grudge over it.”
With that said, the actress is holding out hope that the two can get back on track. “I think she needs to eventually forgive JJ in order to move forward.” But will she get her wish?

J.J.
