After weeks of fan speculation, Days of Our Lives has confirmed the role that Hank Northorp, son of Days veterans Wayne Northrop (Roman Brady) and Lynn Herring (Ex-Lisanne Gardner), will be playing, along with his first airdate.

During the 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, teased that he would soon be appearing in Salem. Days of Our Lives has now confirmed he’ll be portraying Liam Selejko, with his first episode airing on Wednesday, October 29.

Speaking with Dishin’ Days, a Days of Our Lives focused YouTube channel, Northop teased that viewers should be patient with his new character, saying, “So, I will say this. Give my character, who may or may not be named Liam, give him a little bit of time.”

What Do We Know About Liam So Far?

In the September 24 episode, Abe Carver passed his test to become a literacy coach at Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) new bookstore. Abe decided to use his free time to help adults learn to read, and Julie already has the perfect student in mind, Liam Selejko, a young man who was recently arrested for stealing a car.

Later, at The Brady Pub, Abe mentions Liam to his son Theo, who revealed that Liam bullied him throughout school, saying “Liam Selejko bullied me mercilessly from 7th grade on, him and those guys he ran with, they’d wait for me by my locker, call me names, push me around.” Abe explained that Liam’s had a troubled upbringing, including his parents who were in prison for most of his childhood.

In the October 15, episode, Abe confirmed with Liam that he would be tutoring him and set up a session, which Theo overheard and was hurt by.

Fans will have to tune in to see if Liam can repair his relationship with Theo or if he will have to live with the consequences of his actions forever.
