Sophia (Rachel Boyd) lied about what she did with her baby, and she tried to prevent Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) from adopting Tesoro by stealing Holly’s (Ashley Puzemis, a 2025 Daytime Emmy nominee) phone and sending incriminating photos. Tate (Leo Howard) has also been eliminated from the Daddy sweepstakes, though Sophia seemed as shocked by that as anyone, so we’ll need to wait and see if she was actually lying about that.
Those are all definitely bad things, and Sophia is hardly an innocent. But she is also not the guiltiest person who ever guilted, which is the way Holly, Tate, Johnny, and Chanel are acting. Brady (Eric Martsolf) is also angry to have been played. They are all looking for Sophia so they can give her a piece of their minds! And all their horrible behavior during this whole process — well, it was justified, now that they know Sophia is bad!
Steve and Kayla’s Love Story
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) have been dealing with everything from John’s (Drake Hogestyn) death to EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) takeover of the hospital to Stephanie’s (Abigail Klein) romance with Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and her past relationship with Jeremy (Michael Roark).
Those are all important things. However, people need to take a moment to calm down, too. Which is just what this supercouple chooses to do. Time for romance! The rest of the world can wait!
Back Up Couple
Stephanie doesn’t think her parents have anything to worry about. She’s fine. She’s great, actually. She and Alex are very happy. Not just because her book is selling well — even if her mother now knows Stephanie is the spicy, mystery author — but because they’ve talked all about Jeremy and decided he’s not a threat.
