It’s been months now since EJ was shot on Days of Our Lives. The suspect list was long and many had their own opinions on who tried to put the DiMera down for good. However, those tuning in to today’s August 12 episode saw that the suspect list just got a little shorter…
While under hypnosis, EJ couldn’t remember much but the one thing he did recall was enough to turn suspicion away from the males on our suspect list. In fact, he told Marlena that he remembered wanting “her” to put the gun down. Who was the “her” you ask? Well, the only women at the mansion that night were Ava, Gabi, Chanel and Kristen.
When Rachel took the stand, EJ then got her to admit that there could have been enough time between her seeing Johnny with the gun and hearing a gunshot — after she went back upstairs — for someone else to have entered the living room and shot him. And here’s the real kicker… Did you catch a glimpse of Rachel’s expression while EJ conversed with Johnny at the defense table? One could very well say that Rachel had just gotten caught with her hand in the cookie jar, if you will.
