Thomas (Cary Christopher) wound up with a concussion and broken arm from the accident, and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) blamed Chad (Billy Flynn) for what happened. Thomas asked for Jennifer instead of Chad, then Jennifer threatened Chad with a custody battle. Tate (Leo Howard) and Holly (Ashley Puzemis) interviewed Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Marie (Maree Cheatham) about family history and several flashbacks were shown. Mike (Roark Critchlow) arrived and caught up with Jeremy (Michael Roark), Julie, Maree, and Jennifer.

Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) reunited with Kate (Lauren Koslow), then ran into Sami (Alison Sweeney). Later, Sami paid EJ a visit and and revealed she’s engaged to Dante Vitali. Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) found out Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) has to put the mansion as collateral to secure a loan for Titan. Jennifer fought Chad over Thomas, while Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) blamed herself for what happened to Thomas. When Cat ran into Sami, she remembered seeing her in EJ’s room at the same clinic.

Will (Chandler Massey) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) returned for Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel’s (Raven Bowens) baby shower. Eli (Lamon Archey) reunited with Rafe (Galen Gering) while Lani (Sal Stowers) reunited with Abe (James Reynolds. Marlena learned Sami is engaged. Later at the baby shower, Marlena felt tired and Will brought her home, realizing she wasn’t well. Rafe learned that Tony (Thaao Penghlis) was officially declared missing.

Belle (Martha Madison), Paul, Brady (Eric Martsolf), and Marlena spoke about John (the late Drake Hogestyn) during the gala. When Gwen (Emily O’Brien) awaited a delivery to the clinic, she spotted Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Cat sneaking around. Cat revealed to Andrew that she’s having memories of EJ in the clinic. Marlena became overwhelmed and told Belle she needed to get to the hospital.
