Days of Our Lives recap for December 3, 2025.
Marlena Agrees to Marry Leo and Javi
Leo stops in to check on Marlena at University Hospital. He brings her some coloring books and colors, and she is surprisingly thrilled. He notes it’s a form of meditation which could alleviate stress. She thanks him for his gift and for coming to see her. Afterwards, Leo asks Marlena to be the officiant at his upcoming wedding to Javi. Marlena is thrilled for him and is happy to marry the two of them.
Leo goes on and on about his proposal and how happy he is when he notes Marlena’s face. He apologizes for being insensitive after her first Thanksgiving without John. She says their family has really been going through it. Leo is certain things will begin to look up but Marlena says she’s inflicted som damage to folks that won’t so easily be undone. She says she made a terrible mistake and isn’t used to being as wrong as she was. Leo notes how amazing she has been to him and how much better she makes his life.
Tate Learns the Truth About Rachel’s Crimes on Days of Our Lives
Holly and Arianna run into each other in Horton Square. Holly asks about Tate as she hasn’t been able to get in touch with him. She doesn’t understand why he isn’t responding to her texts but Arianna says not everything is about her.
Tate drops by the penthouse to see his father. Brady is heartbroken to see Rachel in so much pain. Tate admits he feels the same but knows it doesn’t compare to what he had to go through the day before. Brady tells Tate all about Rachel shooting EJ and poisoning Sarah. He says not to share the details with anyone else, even Holly.
Holly and Arianna run into Tate outside the Brady Pub. He updates them on Marlena’s surgery and Rachel’s commitment to Bayview. He is headed off to see her now but Arianna notes he has class soon (and flashes back to Tate telling her he is in danger of flunking all his classes). Tate pays them no mind and makes his exit.
Maggie Invites Brady to Move in
Kate drops by to chat with Maggie at the Kiriakis Mansion. She brings up recent sales numbers about Stephanie’s latest book. Maggie knows if things don’t improve soon she has decisions to make about Titan’s bottom line, another set of layoffs. She is unwilling to do it at the holidays, which leads Kate to say she isn’t ruthless enough. Philip told her about putting up the mansion for collateral, which simply annoys Maggie. Kate tells her to get aggressive and notes how she was able to run Basic Black and DiMera with an iron fist.
Kate wants Maggie to take advantage of Tony’s disappearance and some unrest at DiMera around Theo’s ascension and poach department heads. Maggie is not down and says it’s a mistake to mess with the DiMeras in this way. She tells Kate to stay in her publishing lane. Kate gets it but thinks Maggie is making a mistake.
Brady arrives to see Maggie and tells her all about Rachel poisoning Sarah. He goes on to say Marlena has been hiding her condition. Maggie doesn’t understand but Brady won’t reveal the information about Rachel shooting EJ. Maggie thinks Marlena must’ve had his reasons and tries to calm him down. Brady gets it but doesn’t want to live in the house with Marlena anymore. Maggie says he can move in with her as he is always welcome. Brady is thrilled and says he will only stay until he finds a place. With that, they embrace.
Kate Pushes Arianna to Intern at DiMera on Days of Our Lives
Holly and Arianna sit inside the pub and chat a bit about Rachel and Tate. Holly wishes there was something she could do but also has so much to do with her internship with Stephanie. Arianna still hasn’t heard back about her spot at Titan. Holly exits as Kate arrives and Roman pours a little coffee. Arianna updates them on Leo proposing to Javi and she says she isn’t really happy about it as she doesn’t really like Leo, especially after what he did to her dads (Do you know what they did to him?). Roman defers to Marlena’s judgement as she really likes Leo. Kate says she doesn’t have to like Leo just because he is marrying Javi. Arianna gets it but just doesn’t want to be related to him.
Arianna mentions her internship at Titan but Kate says there’s no room at the inn. That being said, she thinks her granddaughter might have better luck at DiMera.
Sophia and Rachel Become Fast Friends
Sophia enters Rachel’s room and introduces herself, with a huge, creepy smile. Rachel thought she couldn’t talk, but Sophia says it’s only what she wants people to think as it gives her the upper hand. She says she couldn’t talk for quite a while but then found her voice again but decided to, well, keep quiet. Rachel wonders why she spoke to her and Sophia says she made a decision on the spur of the moment to make her feel welcome. She makes Rachel promise not to tell and Sophia says sometimes it’s better not to let anyone know of what you are capable. Rachel very much buys what Sophia is selling.
Sophia tries to engage Rachel and after a while she relents. Sophia asks why Rachel is there and she says she almost made two people die. She says she didn’t know her actions would have such consequences. Rachel reverses course and asks why Sophia stopped by her room. Sophia says she simply wanted to support her. She then asks who adopted her baby. Rachel is about to answer when Tate walks in and Sophia goes catatonic.
Rachel tells Tate that Sophia just walked in but didn’t say anything as she can’t talk. Tate asks for alone time with his sister and a stone-faced Sophia makes her exit. They talk for a bit when the nurse comes in to say visiting hours are over. Rachel is upset but Tate has to make his exit.
Tate stops by to see Sophia and says how much he misses seeing her. That being said, he doesn’t understand most of what went down. Tate is at a bit of a loss for words and tells Sophia to take care of herself and he will come visit her the next time he sees Rachel. With that, he exits.
Sophia and her creepy smile return to see Rachel. Sophia’s smile more than cracks when she learns Johnny and Chanel adopted her baby. Rachel recoils in fear but Sophia says she’s not mad. When she turns her back, her face contorts and she crushes the cup in her hands.
Holly sits in Horton Square going through Stephanie’s fan mail. She finds a creepy note and then another and another… Tate walks up and they embrace after she asks about his visit with Rachel.
