Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that before John Black (Drake Hogestyn) entered the picture, the love of Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) life was Roman Brady (Josh Taylor).
There’s no way that Marlena will dive into a new relationship anytime soon, as she’s still grieving the loss of her husband, but could family drama bring her and Roman to a scenario where emotions could run high? Could these two cross a line?
Kate Roberts Brady’s Jealousy
During the week of June 23-27, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) will catch her husband and Marlena in a bonding moment, and she’ll feel a tinge of jealousy.
The two have interacted over Rachel Black’s (Alice Halsey) statement that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) shot EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), as they try to get to the bottom of things.
However, does Kate have anything to worry about? Roman and Marlena have long separated but have gotten to a point of a great friendship and co-parenting relationship.
If there were any lingering feelings, they would’ve come out over the years, right? Is there a concern now that John is gone, Marlena and Roman could share a romantic reunion?
A Family That Connects Them
Roman and Marlena have a family that connects them. From their kids to their grandchildren, they still need to interact with each other on some level, and because they’ve become friends over the years, there’s no reason why they can’t work together when it comes to family issues that pop up.
But could this ‘family bond’ be the very thing that brings them closer together in the days and weeks to come?
With that said, Roman and Kate share children, Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and his twin sister, Cassie Brady (Alexis Thorpe); however, as they didn’t “raise” these children together, is this bond or dynamic different than the one he shares with Marlena? Only time will tell.
