In the latest episode of Days of Our Lives, Sophia was seen planning with Melinda in Chicago, with the latter reassuring her that Tate would not find out the truth about their baby. Melinda urged her to go out into the world and live her life. She also promised to look over the paperwork and everything legal. All this while, Tate kept calling Sophia in Chicago.
When DOOL moved to the other side of the narrative, Tate was more than panicked about the baby. He rushed to Brady and said that they would have to get to Chicago right away. He also broke the news of the kidnapping. But Brady stopped Tate, telling him that he was not in a state to take the wheel. Brady offered to drive instead.
Before they could leave on their hurried quest with little information about Sophia’s whereabouts, she called and told Tate that she was fine and coming back home. Sophia also told him that she already had the baby, and it was a girl.
The sudden progression of the events had Tate shocked. However, he had other things on his mind. He lamented to Brady about how he was not ready to be a parent and said that he may never move on from this.
