It’s hard to believe Hope is 62.
Kristian Alfonso, 62, has never looked better. The stunning brunette, whose enduring portrayal of Hope Brady on Days of Our Lives cemented her as a fixture in soap opera history, is sharing staggering “Then and Now” photos on social media. The ageless beauty’s photo share has the comment section turning into a group chat about all things Kristian Alfonso.
Captioning her post, “Way back #wednesday …and …take me away #calgon 🥰💃🏻 #kindness feels #best ❤️💃🏻#love,” Alfonso shares a glamorous studio shot, complete with a red leather shirt, heels, and hair swept and styled—compared to a more casual updated photo of the actress smiling under an umbrella as she strolls a city street.
In the most recent photo, Alfonso wears stylish cuffed jeans, a perfect fall suede boot, and a light blazer casually thrown over her shoulders. Her signature dark locks fall effortlessly as she smiles over her shoulder.
Despite her two stints on Days of Our Lives, playing Hope Brady for over 37 years, the soap opera queen looks ageless. In fact, it’s safe to say that at 62 years old, she looks her best now.
Fans are quick to agree.
“Well, you’re still gorgeous! You’re a one of a kind, classic beauty, Kristian,” wrote one supportive fan. Another added, “Kristian, you will always be our favorite Shero!!! You played Hope well!”
Another took to all caps to share her sentiment, writing, “Omg BEAUTIFUL BACK THEN n still BEAUTIFUL now.”
Kristian Alfonso’s Enduring Legacy on ‘Days of Our Lives’
The actress first joined the cast of Days of Our Lives in 1983, her portrayal of Hope Williams Brady immediately becoming a fan favorite. Alfonso was part of the cast nearly continuously for 37 years (with a few breaks in 1987, 1990, and from 2020 on) until her final episode aired in October 2020.
Alfonso’s Hope became part of one of the soap world’s most iconic supercouples: “Hope and Bo.” Bo Brady was played by actor Peter Reckell, and the relationship was central to many story arcs on Days of Our Lives.
Alfonso’s Hope went through many dramatic, soap-opera-worthy storylines, including being presumed dead, brainwashed, and battling villains. But it was her on-screen chemistry with Reckell, and her long tenure on the show, that made Kristian Alfonso a fan favorite—then and now.
