Of course, Ari is an 18-year-old college student who’s capable of making her own decisions about her love life.
However, that doesn’t mean Gabi will just sit back and stay silent when it comes to Ari’s romantic choices.
Gabi certainly didn’t approve of Ari’s previous interest in Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer), especially after he got her daughter kidnapped.
Thankfully, that whole mess is behind Ari, who’s poised to find love with someone else.
Doug wasn’t the right choice for Ari since he was tangled up in shadiness and stuck on Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), but the fact remains that she likes her men a little older.
As luck would have it, a very single Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) just came back to Days.

That feels like a great hint about who Ari’s going to be paired up with!
Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) appears to be interested in Ari, but she seems less into teenage goofballs and more into mature guys like Theo.
Since Theo has a little edge following Claire Brady’s (last played by Isabel Durant) betrayal and their breakup,
Days spoilers suggest that could make him even more appealing to Ari.
Naturally, Gabi may have some concerns due to the age difference and the possibility that Theo is on the rebound.
Gabi might also worry about Ari neglecting her studies since Theo obviously isn’t a Salem U student.
Days fans know that Gabi is always going to be protective of Ari, so she’ll no doubt have a warning for her down the road.
Gabi may have one for Theo as well and warn him not to break her daughter’s heart.
