It was supposed to be a huge day for Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens)—one they’d been waiting for. But instead, everything went completely sideways.
The social worker showed up earlier than expected, and right off the bat, things felt… off. Then she read them a letter from Tesoro’s biological mom, who made it crystal clear she did not want Johnny and Chanel to adopt the child. Ouch. And just when they were still trying to process that, the bomb really dropped.
The letter also accused Johnny of having an inappropriate relationship with a student. And as if on cue, a photo gets sent from Holly’s (Ashley Puzemis) phone—yeah, that kind of photo. Totally inappropriate, totally bad timing. It just added more fuel to the fire. The social worker walked out, and Chanel completely lost it on Johnny.
And honestly? Who could blame her? Even though Johnny swears it’s a setup and insists there’s nothing going on with Holly, Chanel’s not so sure. Especially since Holly’s had a major crush on him in the past. So yeah… the pieces kind of fit a little too well.
Now Chanel’s left heartbroken, worried that their dream of adopting Tesoro is slipping away fast, or it’s completely gone.
Sophia Panics
Meanwhile, this whole mess? It’s Sophia’s (Rachel Boyd) doing. She’s been pulling strings, targeting both Johnny and Holly—and sadly, it looks like her plan is working. But hey, secrets never stay buried forever. And Sophia? She’s starting to panic. Makes you wonder—what’s she afraid of? Is someone getting close to finding out the truth?
Maggie Gives Tough Love
Looking ahead, Days spoilers for October 2 say Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) gives Holly some serious tough love—because let’s be real, Maggie had to be terrified when Holly landed in the hospital.
