Next on DAYS
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) confronted Sophia (Rachel Boyd — here’s what you should know) with the truth about Tate (Leo Howard) not being Tesoro’s father. She seemed as surprised as Brady (Eric Martsolf) at the test results, which suggests she wasn’t lying intentionally and genuinely believed Tate was the father. Which makes sense.
If Sophia knew Tate wasn’t the father, she wouldn’t have needed to go through her crazy machinations to lie to him about their “daughter.” Now, Sophia needs to confess to her lawyer. Will Melinda (Tina Huang) help her fix her mess — again? Meanwhile, Tate goes to the only obvious candidate for Tesoro’s paternity (since there are only two teenage boys in all of Salem), Aaron (Louis Tomeo).
Aaron acts very nervous. But he wasn’t nervous up to this point. Like, not at all. Which means he didn’t suspect he could be Tesoro’s father, either. And the only way he could be sure of that is if they never, ever slept together….
But What About Johnny and Chanel?
While Sophia suffers and Tate deals with the fallout, and Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Javi (Al Calderon) prepare to say goodbye to the baby boy they’ve been taking care of since July, Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) worry about… themselves.
Yes, yes, all those other people are in crisis. But they don’t seem to understand that Chanel and Johnny might not get what they want. And neither one is really familiar with that feeling. Surely, Sophia, Tate, and the rest can process their feelings… without inconveniencing Johnny and Chanel? Does she need to get her mama on this?
Theo Sets Paulina Against Abe
Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) has two major decisions to make: Will he go to work with his uncle Tony (Thaao Penghlis) in the family company started by his very, very, very evil grandfather Stefano (Joseph Mascolo), and will he pursue his campaign to get JJ (Casey Moss) off the police force after JJ stopped him during curfew on a street that was being looted and suggested Theo should go home since there was a curfew and the street was being looted?
Paulina (Jackée Harry) hates the DiMeras, but she is also the mayor of Salem. Abe (James Reynolds, who reflected on his time on DAYS) has had significantly more dealings with the DiMeras than Paulina has, and he is also a former police officer. Which makes it particularly interesting to see which side each will take. The only thing we know is that they disagree on both.
