Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday, October 16, put Leo in the position of actually being right for once — but he might end up telling the wrong person. Meanwhile, Chad definitely listens to the wrong mentor.
Key Takeaways
- Leo talks to EJ about the blackout.
- Alex and Stephanie bask in happiness while Jeremy offers relationship advice to Chad.
- Cat worries to Rafe.
Next on DAYS
Leo (Greg Rikaart, who is a 2025 Daytime Emmy nominee) fancies himself Woodward and Bernstein (but more a Redford lookalike than a Hoffman), though most of the time, he comes off as more Ron Burgundy. Nonetheless, he stumbled upon a connection between EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and the Great Salem Blackout of 2025. (Or is it 2026? Is DAYS still a year ahead of the rest of us?)
Leo’s version of investigative reporting involves approaching EJ and demanding that he reveal everything. Preferably into Leo’s phone, where it can be recorded and broadcast as an exclusive. But if he thinks EJ is just going to spill his guts, Leo has another thing coming. And if Leo thinks EJ is going to ignore the potentially explosive information Leo sort of has, then Leo isn’t long for the journalism game. Or this world.

Happily Ever After
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) are extremely happy. Her book is a success! His family got their company back! He is hot! She is pretty! Together, they are hot and pretty! Nothing can ever, ever go wrong for them!
Not even with Stephanie’s ex, Jeremy (Michael Roark), in town. They’re over, and Jeremy has come to terms with that. Jeremy is a good guy now. He teaches 5th grade. He’s barely started, but he’s already given some advice to one of his students, Thomas (Cary Christopher), the dad.
We certainly hope it’s about child development, or maybe Thomas’ multiplication facts, rather than any advice regarding Chad’s (Billy Flynn) love life. Because from what we saw of Jeremy’s experience, he… isn’t very good at that.
Cat’s Out of the Bag
Chad, for the record, has no love life. He just broke up with Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) because his son threw a tantrum. Cat cried. However, she then pulled herself together and returned to work. She’s got some dirt on EJ. And she’s happy to share it with Rafe (Galen Gering).
