It’s been just over 10 years since “All My Children” was canceled by ABC and in the time since the show was revived with an online reboot via The OnLine Network (TOLN) in 2013, and most recently ABC has put into development a primetime reboot entitled “Pine Valley,” a reference to the show’s fictional town. Now E! is reuniting several cast members from the soap as part of “Reunion Road Trip,” a new series that brings together cast members from such iconic shows as “AMC,” “A Different World,” “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” and “Scrubs.”

First reported by Entertainment Weekly, the first episode of the series kicks off on Thursday, June 10 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT as former “AMC” stars Rebecca Budig (ex-Greenlee Smythe), Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan Lavery), Jacob Young (ex-JR Chandler) and Eva LaRue (ex-Maria Santos) reunite at an exclusive Hollywood mansion to help celebrate the show’s 50th anniversary — “AMC” turned 51 in January of this year which means the series was filmed prior to the pandemic. Look for surprise visits from other former “AMC” cast members including Alicia Minshew (ex-Kendall Hart), Debbi Morgan (ex-Angela Hubbard), Darnell Williams (ex-Jesse Hubbard), Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley Vaughan Santos) and Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane) herself. The “AMC” episode follows the group as they dish on the show’s origins, off-camera romances, and the series cliffhanger that left fans wanting more.
Subsequent episodes of “Road Trip” will include a reunion between Ted Allen, Kyan Douglas, Thom Filicia, Carson Kressley and Jai Rodriguez from the Bravo original series “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,” airing Thursday, June 17; Sinbad, Kadeem Hardison, Darryl M. Bell, Jasmine Guy, Dawnn Lewis and Cree Summer reminisce over “A Different World” on Thursday, June 24 that features an appearance by the show’s director and executive producer Debbie Allen and executive producer Susan Fales-Hill; and Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke and Donald Faison are joined by former co-stars Robert Maschio and Judy Reyes on Thursday, July 1.
