The latest episode of Elsbeth is set to be an absolute thriller and sees Carrie Preston’s Elsbeth Tascioni going head-to-head with her real-life husband, Michael Emerson, in his role as the villainous Judge Milton Crawford. Elsbeth knows he’s a murderer, but time is running out for our hero to prove it as he comes agonizingly close to becoming a federal judge and into a position of unimpeachable power.

Collider is thrilled to bring our readers an exclusive sneak peek at the latest episode, entitled “I Know What You Did Thirty-Three Summers Ago”, in which Elsbeth and Judge Crawford have an unsettling face-to-face conversation in the subway, where Crawford’s ice-cold demeanor is as chilling as it is menacing. He thinks he’s going to get away with it, but we know Elsbeth won’t let him. The full episode synopsis can be found below:

As Judge Milton Crawford (Michael Emerson) inches closer to becoming a federal judge, Elsbeth scours his past to prove he’s a murderer before it’s too late, but her attempts to take him down put everyone around her in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Teddy considers following in his mother’s professional footsteps, on the CBS Original series ELSBETH

Michael Emerson Is One Of Many ‘Elsbeth’ Guest Stars

Emerson has been a regular fixture on television for decades now, and most recently wrapped a five-year stint as Dr. Leland Townsend on the CBS series Evil alongside Mike Colter. Previously, he was best known for his roles in Person of Interest, the thriller series from Jonathan Nolan, which wrapped in 2016, and of course, his compelling turn as Benjamin Linus, the leader of The Others, in the legendary ABC series, Lost. His presence adds to what’s already been a star-studded season of Elsbeth, which recently welcomed Fast & Furious mainstay Jordana Brewster, as well as Matthew Broderick, Ioan Gruffudd, Alan Ruck, Eric McCormack, Vanessa Bayer, Vanessa Williams, Alyssa Milano, and Nathan Lane. With Season 3 now confirmed by CBS and, mercifully, officially on the way, the possibilities are endless for who might next cross paths with the ever-curious The Good Wife alum in her ever-evolving spin-off as we head into more crimes to solve, murders to uncover, and important people to annoy.
