Melanie Lynskey delivered some big news on Thursday.
While on Hollywood Today Live, the 39-year-old actress revealed she is engaged to 36-year-old Jason Ritter, the son of the late iconic sitcom star John Ritter of Three’s Company fame.
The Two And A Half Men actress said, ‘He’s now my fiance!’ to the shocked hosts Matthew Ross and Garcelle Beauvais.
She laughed about it and even blushed a bit.
The beauty looked pretty in a dark jacket with her hair down.
The star said she did not reveal on social media that she was engaged to Jason because she likes to be ‘more private’ and thinks using a hashtag on his name is not right because he’s a public figure.
She also said she has gone out of her way to call him her boyfriend and not her fiance.
Melanie was married to Jimmi Simpson from 2007 until 2014. Jason has never been married before.
Jason is best known for his TV shows Joan Of Arcadia, The Class, Weasel Town, Parenthood and Gravity Falls. He most recently had a part in Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life and the film The Labyrinth. The actor is in post production on the TV series Tales Of Titans.
His father John died in 2003 at the age of 54. He was also on 8 Simple Rules with Kaley Cuoco.
