Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler aren’t in Montana anymore.

The Yellowstone characters, played by Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, make their return in Paramount+’s first teaser for Dutton Ranch, the new series arriving May 15.

In the footage, released on Monday, March 23, the couple embark on a new adventure over in Texas, one that includes explosions, shotguns and plenty of romance. The new series, based in South Texas, finds Beth and Rip walking away from a fire, sharing a drink and Rip getting into a brawl with another man for good measure.

“Welcome to Texas,” Rip says in the teaser, soundtracked by Eminem’s “Till I Collapse.”

Elsewhere, Beth can be seen having a living-room chat with a character played by franchise newcomer Annette Bening. “A legacy is a beautiful thing,” Beth says. “But only if it survives.”

The series, which also welcomes Ed Harris to the Yellowstone extended universe, follows Beth and Rip as they “fight to build a future together” and “collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire,” per an official logline.

“In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul,” the description adds.

Before Dutton Ranch arrives on Paramount+, the streamer also shared a handful of first images from its new spinoff, featuring Beth and Rip riding horses and acclimating to life in Texas.

The series also stars Finn Little, Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca and Natalie Alyn Lind.

Dutton Ranch is created by executive producer and showrunner Chad Feehan, with Taylor Sheridan executive producing alongside John Linson, David Glasser, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Alexandra Voros, Michael Friedman, Hauser, Reilly and Keith Cox.

Amid the March 2026 premiere of MarshalsYellowstone producer Glasser told Entertainment Tonight that Dutton Ranch is “a way to explore the characters but also mature the characters.”

“I think that’s the nice thing. We all want to be with them on the ride, but we also want to see them grow,” he said. “These shows always, for us, are a lot of dead bodies, a lot of people getting shot, a lot of crazy stuff happening, and just when you think we can’t turn it up a notch, we do.”

After Yellowstone itself wrapped with Beth and Rip settling down on a “7,000-acre Dutton Ranch” outside of Dillon, Mont., Dutton Ranch will now find them doing “what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter becomes the man he’s supposed to be,” per a previously shared logline, referring to the teen they are guardians of.

Dutton Ranch premieres on Paramount+ on May 15 with two episodes.
