‘Family Matters’ Stars Reginald VelJohnson and Jo Marie Payton Reunite for Lifetime Movie

Two of our favorite sitcom parents are getting back together!
Lifetime is hosting a mini Family Matters reunion!

Two of our favorite ’90s sitcom parents — Carl Winslow (Reginald VelJohnson) and Hariette Winslow (Jo Marie Payton) — will reunite in Lifetime’s holiday film, The Flight Before Christmas.
The movie, which tells the story of two holiday travelers stranded in Montana after their Christmas Eve flight was canceled, also stars The Big Bang Theory’s Mayim Bialik and Ryan McPartlin (Chuck).
The film will mark the first time VelJohnson and Payton have worked together since Family Matters went off the air in 1998. However, both actors have been busy outside the series.

Meanwhile, Payton, 65, provided the voice the Sugar Mama Proud on Disney Channel’s The Proud Family, and also had a recurring role on Will & Grace. She’s also the star of Mann & Wife on the digital network, Bounce TV

The Flight Before Christmas premieres Saturday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. on Lifetime.

In September, cast of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation past and present meet up for a mini reunion in Beverly Hills, California. To get the details from the gathering, check out the video below.
