FBI fans are wondering about the whereabouts of one of the show’s big characters.
The CBS series, which is currently in its seventh season, is set to wrap up this month, and fans are wondering about what’s going on with OA, played by Zeeko Zaki.
Both Special Agent Omar Adom “OA” Zidan and Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castille (Alana de la Garza) were missing in Season 7, Episode 12, entitled “Manhunt.”
It’s believed that their absences were due to FBI and FBI: Most Wanted‘s recent budget cuts that reduced the amount of episodes actors filmed each season.
While there was no explanation during the episode about where OA and Isobel were, last May, Deadline reported each series regular on FBI and FBI: Most Wanted had their guaranteed minimum episodes cut down by two episodes for Season 7 and Season 5 respectively due to budget cuts.
Stuart Scola (John Boyd) and Jubal Valentine (Jeremy Sisto) were also missing earlier in the season.
And based on a preview of Season 7, Episode 13, entitled “Hitched,” it looks like Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym) will be the next character to be missing from FBI. In the same preview, we see the return of OA and Isobel.
