When is Fifty Shades Freed released?
The third instalment of the trilogy will be released in cinemas on 9 February 2018, five days ahead of Valentine’s Day on 14 February. The run time is 110 minutes – eight minutes shorter than Fifty Shades Darker and 19 minutes shorter than Fifty Shades of Grey.

After accepting Christian Grey’s proposal in Fifty Shades Darker, the next instalment sees Anastasia Steele adjust to married life, the wealthy lifestyle that comes with it, and her new husband’s controlling nature. The newlyweds are soon haunted by figures from Christian’s past, though, when women from his life-before-Ana threaten to jeopardise their happy ending before it’s even properly begun.

Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan reprise the roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey respectively, while Rita Ora will return as his sister Mia following her blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appeareance in Fifty Shades Of Grey.
New additions to the cast include Teen Wolf’s Tyler Hoechlin, who plays Anastasia’s former classmate who she signs as an editor at Christian’s publishing company, Bella Heathcote, who takes on the role of one of Christian’s former submissives, and Smallville’s Eric Johnson: one of Ana’s colleagues who begins pursuing her romantically – much to Christian’s disapproval.

Kim Basinger will play Elena Lincoln – otherwise known as Mrs. Robinson – who is a prominent figure in Christian’s past; Hannibal actor Hugh Dancy makes his debut as psychiatrist Dr. John Flynn (according to Hollywood Reporter), and Seven Pounds actress Robinne Lee makes her debut as vice president and second-in-command to Christian Grey at Grey Enterprises.
Fay Masterson also joins Fifty Shades Freed as Christian’s longtime housekeeper and cook, Gail Jones.
