Filming of ‘Tracker’ Crew Set to Begin in Agassiz

Pioneer Avenue in Agassiz will get a taste of the Hollywood North treatment next week.

According to a notice of filming from the District of Kent, TNG Television Productions will be filming in the Agassiz townsite on March 31 and April 1.

TNG is filming the second season of CBS TV series Tracker. The drama series stars Justin Hartley (This is Us, Smallville, Revenge) as Colter Shaw, a lone-wolf survivalist who travels the country seeking out missing persons. The show also stars Fiona Rene (The Lincoln Lawyer, Fire Country, I Know What You Did Last Summer tv series) and Eric Graise (The Tomorrow War, Limited Space, Teenage Bounty Hunters)

The series is based on The Never Game, a 2019 novel by Jeffery Deaver.

Filming will take place along Park Street, along the 7000 block of Pioneer Avenue and Pioneer Avenue from Park Avenue to Heath Road. The location will be closed to vehicle traffic from 8 a.m. on March 31 to 2 a.m. on April 1, resuming on April 1 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. No parking zones will be in effect. A section of the parking lot at the Community Recreation and Cultural Centre will be reserved for the film crew.

Agassiz-Harrison has served as the backdrop of several movies and series over the years. Some notable examples include the sci-fi series Wayward Pines in 2013, a Godzilla series under the working title Hourglass in 2022 and The Wrong Paris in 2024.
