Fire Country Season 3 Image Introduces New Inmate Firefighter With Potential Bode Romance Ties

A new Fire Country season 3 image puts the spotlight on a new inmate, with potential romance ties to Bode. The popular CBS drama will finally debut its third installment in just a matter of days, picking up after the disaster that occurred at the wedding of Gabriela (Stephanie Arcila). But while several characters will be dealing with the fallout and attempting to minimize the damage, one of the trailers for Fire Country season 3 teased a steamy reunion between Gabriela and Max Thieriot’s Bode.

Fire Country season 3 will premiere on Friday, October 18 at 9 PM on CBS, with the network sharing the first image of Leven Rambin as Audrey. The recurring character, seen in the image below, is a former fire camp inmate. She has her arms crossed, with a focused gaze. She has blonde hair and two tattoos across her arm. Check it out below:

The image comes from Audrey’s debut in Fire Country season 3, episode 2. The logline of the episode is also included below:

Bode receives a life-changing opportunity that could impact his future as a firefighter, and Leven Rambin guest stars as Audrey, a former fire camp inmate.

What The New Fire Country Character Means For Season 3
Gabriela & Bode Won’t Have An Easy Road

Even though Bode may have a new love interest, it’s clear that his feelings for Gabriela are not entirely a thing of the past. Following the season 2 ending, it seems that the pair has a moment to reconnect. After disaster strikes at Gabriela’s wedding, halting her vows to Diego Moreno (Rafael de la Fuente), the Fire Country season 3 trailer shows Gabriela and Bode in an intimate moment. She climbs into his lap, with the two gazing into each other’s eyes.

It remains to be seen whether this scene ends up being a dream sequence since the addition of Audrey brings another wrinkle to the story. Rambin, who previously appeared as Athena Bezzerides in True Detective, plays a character who is described as gritty and has a love for music. She may hit it off with Bode before showrunner Tia Napolitano and the drama’s team of writers circle back to a romance with Gabriela.

Where Audiences Have Seen Leven Rambin Before

Rambin has several notable credits to her name. In addition to her recurring role on True Detective, where she appeared throughout season 2, the actor is recognized for playing Glimmer in The Hunger Games and sharing the screen opposite Jack Quaid, who would go on to portray Hughie in The Boys. She also played the pivotal character of Clarisse, the daughter of Ares, in 2013’s Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.

Rambin got her start on the long-running soap All My Children, playing the half-sisters Lily Montgomery and Ava Benton, a performance which earned the actor two consecutive Daytime Emmy nominations. Following her soap stint, Rambin was among the main cast of the Christian drama The Book of Daniel, which was canceled by NBC after only a few episodes. Her most high-profile role saw her playing Riley Dawson and recurring as part of the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles as Riley Dawson.

For many television fans, however, Rambin may be best known for her small but pivotal part as Sloan Riley on Grey’s Anatomy and Private Private. Riley was the daughter of Mark Sloan, played by Eric Dane. Even though she only appeared in five episodes of Grey’s, from 2009 to 2010, and one episode of Private Private, her arc of reconnecting with Mark helped to better define a core Grey’s character.

Rambin may be best known for her small but pivotal part as Sloan Riley on Grey’s Anatomy and Private Private .

It remains to be seen whether Rambin gets to do the same during her time on Fire Country. But she’s a familiar recurring face on several series, having also appeared in dramas like The Path and Gone, so she should complement the ongoing uncertainty between Gabriela and Bode.

Our Take On Bode & Gabriela’s Current Relationship
Complications Make For A Better Pairing

The show’s central pairing has a lot to work through. Bode began season 2 behind bars, and, although he’s since become a free man, Gabriela has found a stable relationship with Diego. Though he’s not likely to hang around with the Fire Country characters for long, and Audrey won’t either, it’s important the fan-favorite Bode and Gabriela pairing get to have believable obstacles that they work their way through.

The series, created by Joan Rater, Tony Phelan, and Thieriot, is also eying a second spinoff with Supernatural’s Jared Padalecki. It’s a busy time for Fire Country, with several supporting cast members having their own storylines as CBS mulls turning a popular premise into a connected franchise. Given all of these different threads, putting Gabriela and Bode on a bit of a romantic pause may be for the best in terms of building their story.
