CBS’ hit procedural series Fire Country has burned up the ratings across its three seasons thus far, but will the firefighting drama get renewed for season 4? Debuting in 2022 and created by Max Thieriot, Tony Phelan and Joan Rater, the series concerns inmate firefighter Bode (Thieriot), who helps battle California’s mighty wildfires in order to shorten his prison sentence. Not only does Fire Country capture the high-stakes and excitement of firefighting, the drama also delves into the lives of the characters, and explores a myriad of social issues that actually affect the volunteers of the California Conservation Camp Program.
Besides the fires which put Bode and his team’s lives in danger week after week, Fire Country has a wealth of storylines the keep the excitement high. Bode’s will-they-won’t-they with Gabriela is one of the most interesting romances on TV today, and season 3 is bound to introduce more wrinkles into the love triangle with Diego.
