Wedding bells are ringing in Virgin River—and they’re coming sooner than you think! On Thursday, Netflix dropped the first official teaser for Virgin River Season 6, set to premiere on December 19, 2024. The new footage offers fans a sneak peek at the much-anticipated wedding of Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack (Martin Henderson), alongside some other dramatic developments in the town.
The teaser opens with a flashback to a pivotal moment: Jack proposing to Mel, revisiting some of the most memorable scenes from their relationship over the past five seasons. Then, we get a first look at Season 6, including Jack getting fitted for a tuxedo, Mel arriving in a hot pink Hummer limo (possibly for her bachelorette party), and even a shot of Mel in her wedding dress—setting the stage for the emotional events to come.
In addition to the teaser, Netflix also released three new photos from the upcoming season. The images include a sweet moment between Mel and Jack, a shot of the couple standing in the empty barn where they plan to hold the wedding, and another cozy picture of them sharing a tender moment on top of Jack’s truck, wrapped in a blanket.

He told Entertainment Weekly, “She and Jack do end up in a happy and accepting place by the end… their happiness might not be what they thought it was going to look like, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be happy again together in a different way.”
