ABC on Tuesday became the fourth and final broadcast network (following CBS, NBC and Fox) to unveil its schedule for the Fall TV season. What shows are on the move, where did new ones land, and what’s on hold until midseason?
♦ The Rookie and Will Trent are on hold until 2026. As was the case last fall, Dancing With the Stars will lead off Tuesdays — meet the first contestant! — followed by Season 2 of High Potential.
♦ 9-1-1 will be used to launch the Chris O’Donnell-led spinoff 9-1-1: Nashville. The fate of current Thursdays-at-9 occupant Doctor Odyssey remains TBD.
♦ Ryan Seacrest will take over as host of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, now airing Fridays at 8 pm. As a result, Shark Tank will dog paddle over to Wednesdays, where it will air behind Season 2 of The Golden Bachelor (led by former NFL pro Mel Owens).
