We’re still about a week away from The Golden Bachelor season 2, but we have something to tide you over in the meantime. If you already know all about the leading man and the ladies who’ll be competing for his heart, next on your prep list should be this exclusive sneak peek of what we can expect this season. From limousines and walks on the beach to trips to a football field and a firehouse, this season is going to take us to some interesting places. In addition to the preview we’re about to share, ABC also divulged what we can expect during the premiere: “After a dazzling Queen Mary date and a cheerleading showdown judged by Paula Abdul, the week ends with a sun-soaked pool party and a high-stakes rose ceremony,” a press release reveals.
In case you need a recap, 66-year-old former NFL player Mel Owens is looking for love again after getting divorced — and ABC says he’s looking forward to “sharing life’s everyday moments, making plans for the future, and growing stronger together as a couple.” In the clip, Owens can be heard saying, “I’m hopeful that I’ll find true love,” as he stands beside the pool at the Bachelor mansion and looks out onto the mountains.
