Pop-ups, exclusive first-episode screenings, and more from the ‘ton are on the way to fans!
Social media has really given individuals and companies innovative ways to advertise and build communities. In a world that is so woefully divided, escaping to a different fandom-verse from time to time doesn’t seem like such a bad idea. For romance fans, all eyes are on the world premiere of Bridgerton season 4, coming up in just a few short weeks!
The Bridgerton Netflix Instagram page has been posting non-stop since the release date was announced, giving fans teasers of what’s to come this season. Aside from the obvious Sophia and Benedict teasers, we’re also getting lots of reels with Francesca and John Stirling, Earl of Kilmartin. Several of the videos appear AI-generated, but they are still cause for speculation about what to expect this season.
What’s new in Bridgerton season 4?
The social media reels appear to be subtle ways of letting fans know that Francesca’s storyline has not been forgotten. Just as in the books, [SPOILER] Francesca had a quiet marriage to John, who faced an unfortunate fate shortly after, and she sparked a new romance connection with his cousin, Michael (Michaela in the Netflix series).
Though we expect season 4 to heavily focus on Sophia and Benedict, who are already a season behind where they fall in the books, we can also expect some surprises and subplots with some of the other Bridgerton siblings (we’ve also been made aware of a new addition in the ‘Polin’ family via Instagram!).
What is the Bridgerton world tour?
Bridgerton is calling their world tour the ‘Season of Love,’ and according to a recent reel on Instagram, the cast will be visiting cities in Europe, Africa, Australia, and North America. The reel fails to explain what exactly the cast will be doing but have no fear — I did a little digging for you. Here’s what’s coming in the Bridgerton world tour:
1. Bridgerton ‘Premiere Masquerade’
The most time-sensitive event in the world tour is the Netflix live stream, coming up Wednesday, Jan. 14. During this event, fans can exclusively watch the first episode of Bridgerton season 4 ahead of the rest of the world. Also included in the event are red carpet interviews, a musical performance by a surprise guest, and more!
The live stream will take place live from Paris; make sure you RSVP by 12:30 a.m. ET to attend the festivities. Looks like you may need to set aside an entire day for the event, so get your tea, biscuits, and lads together!
2. Masquerade Balls and Pop-ups
Also known as The Queen’s Ball, fans enjoyed the Bridgerton masquerade pop-ups in previous years, and word is that the international masquerades will be back! Follow the Bridgerton Experience Instagram page to receive updates on pop-up events and fan activations. There is also a website dedicated to the Bridgerton Experience.

3. Bridgerton Podcast
You won’t want to miss the splendid fourth season premiere of the Bridgerton podcast, which will be hosted by Alison Hammond (The Great British Bake Off), according to Tudum. Hammond’s warm and bubbly demeanor was the perfect pick for a new host! The podcast will be available on Netflix, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify, so subscribe today if you’d like to stay up to date on the latest episodes.
4. Candlelight Experience
For those who enjoy concerts, classical music, candlelight, and Bridgerton, check out the global concert series, inspired by the Netflix Bridgerton series. Check for dates at a city near you — or maybe you can add it to your travel itinerary if you plan to be in any of the featured cities around the world.
5. Netflix House
If Bridgerton House and the London ‘ton are too far away for fans in North America, the Netflix House in Dallas and Philadelphia (and soon-to-be Vegas!) are open for visits! Think of the Netflix house as a museum of your favorite Netflix shows and movies. This year’s houses will future themes from Netflix’s most popular shows and movies: Stranger Things, KPop Demon Hunters, Love is Blind, Wednesday, and Squid Game. Purchase tickets for the Philadelphia or Dallas location now!
6. Brand Collabs
You’ve probably already noticed Bridgerton merch in stores and online. Companies like Dove, Pandora, NYX, and even the International Delight coffee creamer company have taken on Bridgerton packaging for fans across the globe. You can also find decorations and kitchenware to prepare for you very own tea party at stores like Walmart, Michael’s, and even Dollar Tree! Swing into stores now before they sell out!
