The Cast of Landman Reunited at the Actor Awards Jeff Kravitz
The world of Landman has a major fashion divide—on one side, the rough and tumble style of Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) and his oil drilling crew who live their lives in jeans and cowboy hats, on the other, the well-shod likes of his wife and daughter Angela and Ainsley (played by Ali Larter and Michelle Randolph, respectively) for whom getting dressed is an event in and of itself. No such divide existed tonight, as the cast reunited on the red carpet at the Actor Awards (formerly known as the SAG Awards) where all of the stars were dressed to the nines in honor of tonight’s ceremony.
The group is collectively nominated this evening in the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series category, competing against The Diplomat, The Pitt, The White Lotus, and Severance. The series was also nominated in for best action sequence by a stunt ensemble.

This year is Landman’s first time being nominated at the newly-renamed Actor Awards. The ceremony, whose full title is The Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA, announced its name swap late last year, with the actors guild SAG-AFTRA explaining, “This evolution has been a long time coming. Since the show’s inception, the statuette has been called The Actor and, as the show’s global audience expanded through Netflix, the timing felt right to make the alignment official and step confidently into the show’s next era.” They added, “After the merger between SAG and AFTRA, we continued to refer to the show as the SAG Awards. Now, with the new name of the show – The Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA – we’re finally able to fully recognize that merger and align it with the name of our statuette, The Actor.”
